Our much-loved Mumm Champagne Degustation Dinner is making its return to Circular Quay – this time with a luxurious twist. Join Mumm Champagne Ambassador Andrea Giraud for a night of bold flavours, seasonal Truffle creations, and perfectly matched pours. It’s an evening of indulgence, insight, and good company – all in one of our most iconic locations.

As part of our Bastille Month celebrations this July, we’re bringing back a special experience – our Mumm Champagne Degustation Dinner at Circular Quay. This exclusive evening is a celebration of French culture and craftsmanship, from the sparkle of fine Champagne to the richness of seasonal Truffle.

Guided by Mumm Champagne Ambassador Andrea Giraud, guests will be taken on a curated journey through the world of Champagne, with each glass thoughtfully paired with gourmet French Crêpes and Galettes. Expect an elegant, educational, and flavour-filled night that showcases the very best of French savoir-faire.

L’Apéritif – Truffle Mise-en-bouche
A selection of house-made Truffle Cream and Truffle-infused Hummus served with Crispy Galettes.

L’Entrée – Lobster Galette Roulade
Delicate Lobster rolled in a Buckwheat Galette, with a silky Champagne Sabayon and fresh shaved Truffle.

Foie Gras and Beef Fillet on a crispy Galette, with Pomme Duchesse and Red Wine Jus.

Andrea Giraud Mumm ambassador for Australia and new zealand
Meet Andrea

Born and raised in the vineyards of Cognac in France, Andrea Giraud was immersed in the world of fine wine and spirits from a young age. Her passion for culture and language took her to Memphis and São Paulo before returning to Bordeaux, where she completed a Master’s in Wine and Spirit Management and trained under some of the world’s most esteemed Masters of Wine.

Her career has seen her work with renowned houses such as Hennessy and Camus, and later in Bordeaux’s prestigious wine industry, before settling in Sydney where she quickly became a familiar face in the city’s fine dining scene as a sommelier and wine expert. With a flair for storytelling and a deep love of Champagne, Andrea now represents Maison Mumm as the official Champagne Ambassador for Australia and New Zealand.

At the masterclass, you’ll be guided through four exceptional cuvées, each served in tasting pours and perfectly paired with curated bites. Andrea will share her personal journey, the unique qualities of each Champagne, and how to truly savour each sip like the French do. With her warm energy and global experience, expect a night that’s not just delicious, but memorable.
